Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous due to her roles in films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano earned her numerous awards, among them an Oscar. She began her career acting as an actress both on Broadway and Off Broadway. In her early years, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth class play. As a result of having mumps, she became deaf on one side of her ear. However, this didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. After studying drama in college and moving in New York City with her ambitions with her sights set. Hunter was trapped in the elevator of the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart that marked the debut of Hunter on Broadway. Following her move into Los Angeles she tried to find film roles, and was able to secure the role of a co-star for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. For the past 30 years, she has appeared on many TV and film shows. Holly Hunter won a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and also the Women in Film Lucy Award.
