Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 on the 25th of August, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is her character of Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks of the USA Network series Covert Affairs and as Dr. Amber Volakis of the Fox show House. Anne Dudek was an American actress best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. The television roles she has played are The Dr. Amber Volakis, in Fox's House sitcom; Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran in HBO drama Big Love. Dudek was born in Massachusetts and attended Northwestern University. Her first acting role was as a character in The Iphigenia Cycle, a production at the university. Dudek was honored with The Joseph E. Caloway Award for her exceptional performance on stage in the New York City production. American Theater Magazine also featured Dudek in their list of 10 theater actors to be watched. Dudek was eventually offered performances on television as well as the large screen. The talented actress, who has a daughter of two, was married from 2008 until 2016 to Matthew Heller. Dudek was conceived in Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and raised in Newton. Her early years were spent in Newton. Dudek studied at Northwestern University and appeared in various theater performances. Dudek's Broadway debut was with Wrong Mountain on Broadway in 2000. The following year, she won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her role on The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group: A British Comedy-Drama was her first show on television. The actress has appeared in a variety of TV programs, such as Desperate Houswives, Charmed bones Numb3rs and Six Feet Under How I Met Your Mother. She also portrayed Lucinda Barry in the pilot episode of Psych and then a schoolteacher who is involved in a sexual affair between one of her student on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek was then cast in various frequent roles that began with the fourth season. She played Amber Volakis. Dr. Gregory House is considering her for a permanent position in his medical team. She continued to portray her character for the entirety of the season. However, she died in the House's head and Wilson's heart two-part episode finale. Then, she returned in the season 5 episode Saviors from Season 5, as the character who was House's hallucination. The character continued to be seen as House for the remainder of the season. Dudek was later seen in the role of Francine as the neighbor next door in Mad Men and as Alby's antagonistic wife on Big Love. Dudek has made her Covert Affairs debut in 2010 as Danielle Brooks' sister. Dudek has also been seen in movies playing the role of the heir to the cruise line Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy White Chicks and also played Anthony Hopkins's daughter in The Human Stain.
