Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actress and producer. She has gained recognition for her stellar performance in movies such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. Holly Hunter has won numerous awards which included her first Oscar for her film Piano. Her career in acting started with Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway and Off Broadway projects. She has had a passion for acting from the time she was in school. The first time she appeared in a production in fifth grade was as Helen Keller. In the fifth grade, due to mumps, she lost her hearing in her left ear. But she didn't allow that to stop her. In her early years, she took classes in drama at the college level and then moved into New York City from Pittsburgh in order to achieve her goals. Hunter made her Broadway debut following a chance meeting in the company of Beth Henley, a playwright. The two worked together in Broadway Crimes of the Heart. Her first role in film came following her move to Los Angeles. Since then, she has appeared in a number of movies, television shows and films over the course of her 30-year career. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
